New The Rise of the Skywalker TV Spots Heralds the Old Jedi Mind Trick

Rey uses the Jedi Mind Trick and Chewie speaks in the latest Star Wars 9 TV Spot . Lucasfilm and Disney are entering the promotional overdrive as the release date approaches. We are now less than three weeks away from the last issue of the Skywalker saga in the cinema and are still annoyed with new footage. Having said this, J.J. Abrams and the crew did a good job without revealing much of the main story. We know a few details, but no details.

The Latest Look at The Rise of Skywalker occupies a large portion of the footage we & # 39; have seen in previous spots and trailers, but adds a little extra dialogue. For example, when we see that stormtroopers can fly on the desert planet Pasaana we hear Chewbacca assessing the situation. We've heard C-3PO, Finn, and Poe talk about the obvious before, but now we finally hear it from the Wookiee perspective, which sounds like he wants everyone to focus on the task at hand instead of messing around with it. We also see Rey using the old Jedi Mind Trick to convince some moronic stormtroopers to let them pass. Elsewhere there is a huge puzzle explosion.

Chewbacca had it rather rough during the sequel trilogy. His partner Han Solo was killed in The Force Awaken's (19459010) of 2015, and his alienated buddy Luke Skywalker sacrificed all of this in the final moments of The Last Jedi (19459011) of 2017. Hopefully, Lando will come along for the rest of his life to spend the Wookiee, or at least join the rest of the resistance to fight for the last time against the First Order. Regardless, Chewie seems to be tidying up, despite the sadness in his life that has led to The Rise of Skywalker

The Rise of Skywalker The Return of Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo and Billie Lourd. Carrie Fisher is part of the cast, thanks to the remainder of The Force Awakens . They include Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, Dominic Monaghan and Keri Russell. Fisher is also joined by veteran Star Wars actors Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Billy Dee Williams and Warwick Davis, who are reportedly returning as Wicket W. Warrick, the Ewok. We have not seen the Ewoks on the screen since the return of the Jedi . RELATED: The Rise of Skywalker Receives a Star Wars Throwback Poster in Retro Style

The hopes for The Rise of Skywalker are currently large. According to Box Office, the final movie of the Star Wars sequel is less than the previous one, but not much. If the initial reactions to the film are positive, fans of Star Wars who were on the fence for the opening weekend will most likely be mad.
